Can anyone suggest good shorefishing spots where I can catch bass? My Skills are flipping and Pitching and Topwater bait fishing. I wanted to prefish this weekend but don't think I can because it's raining.

You can't let a little rain spoil your day. Get some rain gear and give it a go. Look for a map of the lake online and find some drop offs near deep water. Or home that it's warm and you can catch some fish warming up in the shallows.

Buying a Topo map of Piney Run. Worked on Sharpening my hooks, got my reels re-lined, Sprayed and cleaned them with WD-40, and organized Tackle. Anything else I should Do?

Take apert your reel and get the WD40 out of it!!!! WD40 breaks down oil. It is a lubricant but will collect dirt.  Get yourself some reel lube and use that. Also the water will be cold so good luck on the Bass. You should catch a bluegill or too and get onto some Catfish.

I don't know I've never fished there. But give it a shot and if it doesn't work try something else.
