I've been in Maryland for five years and havn'thad much luck in the fishing department. I'm origianally from Colorado and can catch Trout like nobodies business. Grew up catching catfish, Crappie and such as a kid in SouthEast Colorado. Since coming to Maryland life has not been kind to me. A couple of years ago ran into finacial trouble and lost my truck. Didn't go fishing at all last year. I live in Perryville Cecil county and am looking for easy access spots, or maybe a fishing partner. Hate being a mooch but I'm in desparate need of some good fishing.

Hey Bud sorry to here about your hard times. They happen and you will crawl out of it as long as you keep trying. I did find this web site that may help you out.

Here in Frederick we have some great trout streams in the Thurmont area. There are locations all over the state. Locations can be found at this web site

Canowingo Dam(on the Sasquehanna river)is supposed to have excellent fishing, the Baltimore county reservoirs(Prettyboy, Liberty, Loch Raven, something, something) are really good, the bay is excellent, Potomac river(the upper narrow portion is better if you don't have a boat, I fished at harpers ferry), these are just some of the places I know. If you have any questions just ask. Small unknown ponds can be really good and easy to fish too.
