The Huron River seems to have an awefull large population of sucker-type fish that I can't identify.  Some appear to be Northern Hog Sucker, but I don't know for sure about the rest.  The Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass I catch seem to all be 8" or less.  If you have any idea what those sucker-type fish are please notify me!

there are many sucker species in mi. waters and yes 1 of them is the hog noise. there is also the blunt noise, long noise and the white sucker.

if the sucker you are getting has a golden hue to it-- which i've caught many of in mi rivers-- and right now i can't remember their name. or are they a darker color, almost a brown, then it could be any of the before mention fish.

Some of the suckers I see have a slight red hue on their fins.  I also thought of the possibility of them being redhorse.  Thanks for the help!
