Hey guys, Mike here. Once Sterling Heights, then Roseville, and now Mt. Clemens. Just a stone's throw from LSC.

Hi Pillman!  We went a couple of times last summer to Lake Lansing.  Caught a few bass the first time.  The next time was so windy our tiny boat had waves coming in, so we had to quit right away.  I'm planning to go again this year.  I think there are a lot of bass in there, considering how quickly we caught those others.

Western Michigan, Big Rapids to be exact. Used to live near Hardy and Croton Dams. Some of you may remember my old ID "hardyareaguy". Things have changed significantly in the last year and a half.  I've bought a 1992 Bass Cat boat and will be doing some tournament fishing this year.

I also love to ice fish and fishing for most any fish, not huge on pan fish, but can enjoy the easy joys of being on the water and fishing.

If you get up this way, or down for the "up north" members.

so whats everyone been catching this year in the great lake state? and has anyone tried the new nanofil yet im trying to get some reviews before i just spend that kinda money on 125 yd. on a high note i love my fire line. but its not always the right choice when fioshing with light lure and top water nanofill is suposed to be as strong and light weight and work like mano. so if any fellow michiganders can help me out if they have tried it and let me know yay or nay

Hi Guys, long time no see. It's SeaKat from outside Lansing. Has anybody tried steelhead fishing lately? I tried a while ago on the Grand River, but absolutely nothing was biting! There was supposed to be some walleye and pike active, but I couldn't get any action out of them either. I'm getting antsy to go out again, when things pick up. This weather is weird.

Haha this weekend out by my girlfriend’s house I found a little 20 by 15 hole in the ice. So you know I had to throw something in there and it gave me a chance to do a little tuning on the crank bait that I finished last week. Pretty good weekend

    Happy Fishing

Jim from Roseville. I grew up in St Clair Shores and fishing Lake St. Clair. It's hard for me to go anywhere else with a jewel of a lake and river system like st clair. Although I will venture to other lakes and rivers when I get a chance!

Well we have a lot of charters that go for Lake trout, Salmon, Steelhead, also there is charters for bass perch and walleye. I . dont go on any of these though because I have some secret hot spots plus I know where to get Whitefish. Also I know a little lake where you can get muskie. If you have any questions let me know because I know a couple of the guides.

Hey guys Saginaw Mi. area here I live in here in the winter until schools out them live in my camper in Lupton (Rose City, west Branch area) all summer fishing all the small lakes in the area. We are right next to Sage lake on a Private lake called East Twin lake. In the winter I fish the saginaw river daily. I would be able to hook up in the winter if you guys want to nails some walleye. This winter was a odd one I never even got my shanty on the ice but we did real well in the boat. My brother in law even managed to catch a 30# cat fish out of the saginaw. The biggest one I ever saw come out of any river in Mi. I also like to trout fish the rifle and some of it's smaller tributaries in the Lupton area I do pretty well on the browns and brookies there.

Hi Everyone, first time speaking up but have been a member for a few months now (recently upgrade to lifetime member).. We (hubby and I) currently reside in Dexter, MI (originally from Monroe, MI & Romulus, MI) and fish every chance we get, recently discovered various places around ann arbor area (previuosly we just fished exclusively down at Sterling State Park in Monroe, MI because that's where we know to go lol.. Don't currently have a boat/kayak/canoe but always looking for other fisherman to fish with. Oh my name is shannon and hubby's name is Larry btw lol. Hope everyone is having a awesome day!

Am retiring this year, new boat, and will be mainly fishing Lake Huron out of Harrisville and Hubbard Lake. See you on the Big Water!
