By todays weather, I'm predicting it will be a while until the fishing season begins. What do you think? |

Easter eggs will be buried in snow here this weekend. We got lots left and the daytime temps are barely getting above the freezing mark. |

what's up with the weather there in mich?talked to my friend and he told me they was getting frezing rain in the u p on sat at the cabin.then you get 1-3 of snow in the l p yesterday.i'm coming uo there on saturday to visit and was planning on some fishing.not sure if i need to bring my ice gear or regular gear or both.i would trade you all this rain for some of the snow.i could at least do some work around the woods and hidng easter eggs in the snow sure would be fun watching the grandkids look for them.either way,i'm going to fish for something. |

It was 37 degrees last night and we still managed to get a thunderstorm, with what I thought might have been hail, but I'm not sure. When is the summer gonna get here? By this time last year, I had already started fishing for bass and carp. Haven't seen either species yet. |

Don't you mean up to your neck, Bill? Didn't you have to wear cinder blocks as shoes and sheet metal for a jacket? Haha. |

Snow flurries and LOTS of wind in the Irish Hills today. Hope you didn't blow away yesterday Pillman, I saw wind gusts reported at 65 MPH up in your neck of the woods! |

What a beautiful morning - the sun is shining, the wind is calm, the birds are singing. There's not a cloud in the sky and the snow looks so nice on the green grass. |

At least yesterday's sun melted the snow. But we've got an acre or more of standing water. Any deeper and we could stock it! |

If you stock it while it's shallow the fish should be easier to catch! |

Maybe bass will like it, the ducks sure do. There's supposed to be yet more rain and snow over the next two days! Enough already! |

We had sleet, rain and snow in the Irish Hills today. I heard there was 20" of fresh snow in the U.P. and 4 1/2 feet on the ground in some places. Were we supposed to turn the calander back too? |
