    Hi Bassman,

If you're up for some good pike fishing, a kayak would be perfect from Tate Park in Clinton. I sold a pike spoon to a guy at the Clinton Fall Festival, and he caught a 36" pike on his second cast!!!

Send me a pm and I'll tell you all about it!

    Bill

houghton and Higgens lake are good but i'd do them during the week they tend to get pretty busy on the weekends. Sanford and wixom lakes in midland county are pretty productive also. In Clare county Budd lake and 8 point lake are pretty good and there are a ton of smaller lakes in the area that produce well. Long Lake is another off arnold lake rd. If you head to the west branch area check out the rifle river recreation area there are 7 lakes inside but check the rules at the ranger station one is catch and release only. There are a bunch of others in the area ausable lake, rifle lake, geaorge lake.Sage lake, south deese lake, long lake, londo lakes and peach lake all have good numbers of fish in them.

Wow, thanks. Has anybody tried Shupac Lake or the other trout lakes near Grayling? It's a longer drive but might be worth staying around there.
