I've just moved to St. Paul form western Pennsylvania. I'm an avid trout fisherman and I was hoping that some of my fellow club memebers might give me some advise on some good trout streams in my area. Thanks ahead of time for any info that you can give me.

The only trout spot I know thats close to St. Paul is Square Lake out in Stillwater.  Other than that, I've had some pretty good experiences fishing the streams down in Rochester.  Rainbows are stocked there, but they also have browns and I think brooks as well.  They don't get very big, but if youre there on the right day, you'll catch quite a few...

There are a couple small streams that cross I35 around Wyoming MN that have trout in them.  I don't remember the names of the streams, but you can't miss em.  Haven't fished them since 1980, but back then they were loaded with trout.  We fly fished em amd also took a lot with worms.  We couldn't keep em off our hooks.  Ranged between  under 6 to a few over 10 inches.  If you checked a map, it most likely would show the streams. Good luck and God Bless.
