The bite is on, On pool 4 and 5 on the Mississippi! Water temp was 55.4 deg and the eater fish are starting to stage. We caught enough Sauger and Walleye to keep us interested all day. The most exciting part of the day was when a huge Sturgeon spooled me. I couldn't even turn him. Going back early tomorrow to see if a few Sows have turned up in our Honey Holes. The fishing only get better!

What a difference a day makes!

Thing's didn't go as well as planned! First the Mississippi was foggier than all get out and had to use to use the GPS to get us where we wanted to be. Second, after the fog lifted a tournament started and the rush was on. Well they were just as disappointed as we were at day's end. Not much happening on the river but it was a Fun Day!

Not alot of luck, but had a Great Day on the water. We caught enought fish for a good meal! Going back next Tuesday and Wednesday.
