Late may the water is still fairly chilly here, though the fish have started moving. The northerns will have already started spawning but should still be easily accessible in backs of shallow bays. Panfish should be moving into the shallower areas where the weedbeds should be starting to grow and provide cover again. Bass will likely be pretty sluggish and hard to tempt at this time. Thats about what I can tell you off the top of my head at this time. A good thing though is it seems like spring has sprung slightly early up here so the fishing might be farther ahead than I am saying. Keep a check on the online reports for the area.
