We recently inherited a cabin on Lake Belle Taine. Last weekend was my first attempt at scouting and fishing the lake. The water was only in the mid to high 50's and we didn't have much luck. Granted, we had plenty other things to do so we weren't exactly maximizing our opportunities during prime fishing times. We were mostly out and about during the day time. This weekend the in laws will be up so I will be on the water a much as I can.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for the lake? I'm not asking for your favorite secret spot, just trying to get ahead before I get there. I'll mostly be going after bass and walleye. Any tips will be helpful. Hell, I'll just take a good story from the lake if you have one.
