I have fished the fabious, henry sever and mississippi. All are good if you know where to go. When I fish the mississippi I usually go to gregorys landing. The fabious you have to walk it to find a good hole and henry sever is good for anything altho mdc stocked muskie in it and the bass are kind of scarce anymore. If you are wanting catfish go to thomas hill or silver lake.If you want muskie go to hazel creek. The wyaconda state park is back water of the mississippi river. The wyaconda river is good fishing for cat's and carp.  Hope this can do you some good,  happy fishing.
