    In a few days I'm going up to Royal to fish in Verdigre Creek. I will be both fly fishing and using my ualtralight also. I was wondering what the best flies to use might be and also live bait or something else. I have fished it before but not had very much luck. If anyone knows anything about Verdigre pleaz let me know.THanks

    Its kinda of late to reply to your question, but I would not worry about taking flies at all worms or minnows on a fly rod with some split shot work great. I have fished on new years day at 10degrees and caught fish up there and other days fished for hours and only catch 2 or 3, but always something. you should try Grove lake while you are there.
