    Cap here! I live in Lincoln, love to fish for walleye.                                        Mainlly just love getting out on the water and the fish are a bonus.Wagon Train is the lake i usually fish  around Lincoln.

    Cap here! Ilive in Lincoln. Lifetime Member since 2001. Love to fish for Walleye,but have no problem fishing for any thing else! Good panfishing around Lincoln,plus catfish and bass. Main passion is just getting out on the water.I'm retired so i can and usually do most of my fishing during the week!No Crowds!!       Wagon Train is my favorite lake around Linclon . Willow Lake up by Pierce was good for Walleye this year.                                                 Disabled Viet Nam vet   Navy '68-72'

    home fish what lake do you typically fish? maybe we can meet up im typically a bank fisherman as I do not have the funds for a boat but would most definatley like to try fishing with someone new.

    Go to Harlan the most but try Johnson sometimes. Elwood is good place to go and nt be bothered by jet ski and water ski but it's short on water. If it will bite I enjoy catching it.

    I myself have not fished Harlan but I live in Holdrege, I fish Johnson a lot, Really love fishing the canal system west of Johnson, and by the way Elwood came up 2 summers ago did they take it back down again?

    Ive been hearing they are catching eyes through the ice on harlan, maybe its good there now. I caught some perch today north of town in the pit a few 8-9 inchers.

    Welcome to the BB wlferguson and k cash1432, We dont have many active members from our state but I am hoping that changes soon so we can look at a state meet sometime this summer I was wanting to go to the lacrosse meet but due to some unforseen circumstances (mold) in my house I had to abbandon that Idea, If there is any of you with in 2 hours of Holdrge Ne. I am more then willing to meet up somewhere to catch some eyes or even Possibly meet you cash up in the hills to try our luck at some nice perch, I have also heard you guys have pike in the River up that way too, when I was up that way working on irrigation systems I seen some nice cats in the clear water.

    Live in Western Nebraska and fish Lake Minatare, Box Butte, Mac and a few lakes in Wyoming and South Dakota.

    Dave here.  I will be moving to Nebraska in January.  I'll be stationed at Offut AFB.  I've looked up online a little, but I must not be looking in the right areas because I don't find a whole lot out.  I am curious how the fishing is out near the Omaha area.  I'll fish for anything, but the bass fishing out here in Idaho is too fun to skip.  If anyone has any info, let me know.  Thanks.

    To sgtschole and crothers,

    Just to get you started there is Louisville Lakes and Fremont Lakes.
    They both have Bass and Walleye.
    Plus you will find out the Base has their own lake with boating and camping.
    I grew up in Bellevue but for now I'm stuck in Kansas but I shall return.

    New life nafc member. Was wondering if anyone around Lincoln posts on here. I live in west Lincoln. Fish smaller lakes mostly. Wildwood and meadowlark are most frequented. Been catching bluegill,crappie, and largemouth.

    Omaha, NE here, i fish for just about anything i can catch, but i am starting to love catching Largemouth and Smallmouths, but i still love to catch panfish and cat whenever they decide to bite i usually fish Zorinsky Lake, but since they have decided to drain and dredge it i am thinking about trying Walnut Creek in Papillion, Standing Bear has been pretty good fishing for Panfish as well.

    My name is Kerri and my husband and I live in Lincoln, NE and we have caught quite a few crappie lately at Branched Oak, some nice size ones 14 or so inches.  Little windy today but otherwise we haven't come home empty handed yet.

    kjanson here. live in dakota city ne. new member to nafc. the wife and i love to bass, and walleye fish the lakes in a hundred mile radius from us. we spend  most every weekend on the water.
