It has been years since my mom fished the Baker and the Smith Rivers. We are heading up there in a couple of weeks and are wondering if 1) there are any restrictions on just pulling over by the bridge and walking down to the rapids to fish the Baker? 2) My mom can't remember where to go to access the Smith. She remembers traveling past Newfound Lake and going down to some low land over a small bridge, but that's it....senility is a wonderful thing!
