Rainbow Trout Baits???

    What are some good baits or lures for rainbow trout in streams.

    I have been fishing Rainbows for a while now and they go best for "Power Baits," small decorated lures, and attractents. Hope this helps, happy fishing.

    have caught them on small mepps lure silver with black skirt and on a creme lizard spinner,both by accident was bass fishing!  go figure

    I have been using trout magnets for a several years.  Very effective in small streams and the more famous trout stretches like Ken Lockwood or Stevens State Park.  To cover more water, go with a Mepps #0 or #1 silver blade brass body spinner.  If you like to drift fish, go with powerbait or mealworms.  Fall stocking is underway!!!
