Anybody doing any ice fishing? I've been out twice. Once on Oxford Furnace and Budd lake. Oxford still has open water due to the wind but is accessible from the ramp and the north shore gate with plenty of fishable ice. Budd lake is froze over. Caught a few pike up to 26" on a cold windy day. Gonna try Oxford again tomorrow.

been out 3 times so far this week. all at Round Valley swimming area. couple of flags, but very slow. was all alone Wens. and Thurs, but had a few guys out today. only saw 2 fish caught, one bass and a pickrel. had 5-6 ins. on Thurs. now have 6-7. heading to Budd on Sunday.

Checked Spruce Rund Thurs. no good ice. lots of open water. some thin ice in a couple of coves, if it stays cold all this week, maybe by next weekend.

hi folks. As of 1/26/10 Spruce run no good. On 1/22 Mountain lake edges were in rough shape. Lots of open water at Oxford but there was fishable ice. Ended up at Budd lake and fished the rest of the day. 1/24 was at Hopatcong. Plenty of ice. Heard it was still ok even after the rain on sunday/monday.
