Hit the upper river with Heavyfire and his friend Ryan. They started in the lower river only find out the Ice bergs that sunk the Titanic had made it to the river. They beat me to the upper river, had to get the little ones on the bus. When I got there I saw Ryan hooked up and land a nice steelie, around 5-7 lbs, no pic due to I had not got to them yet. I setup below them and had the float drop on a nice 5 lber, played it, snapped the photo and away it went.  Then it started to snow, and snow. A little while later the float drops again, set the hook and feel that this fish has some weight.  The fish put up a great fight, ends up being a nice buck around 10-11 lbs. Took a couple pics and away he goes to fight another day. We knew there was fish there, I told HF to step in and take a few lower in the hole. A couple minutes later his float dropped and he was into a nice hen. After a great fight, we landed it, took the pics and let her go for another day, fish was 10-11 lbs. Now the boys are cold and we call it a day, final tally was 4 landed and another 3 or so on. The water was slushing up pretty good when we left. Colors were blue, white, pink and purple all under floats. There is fish there, just need to wait them out, the boat that was in there before us did not do any. Good Luck this weekend, hope this storm does not dump too much snow. Thanks HF for asking me to go, it was fun, can't wait to get up there again.
