I took today off and went to Captree State Park, for some Fluke. I wasn't disappointed (but then again a bad day fishing is still better then a good day at work) I caught 4 short Fluke, 2 Sea Robbins, a Sundial and a 22 inch keeper Fluke. Not a bad day.

Well I went back to the Captree Boat Basin this past Saturday night, this time I went out on the Super Speedy Express, two new engines make this baby really fly, 15 to 17 kts, not bad for a 95 foot boat. The Captain went to the wreck of the San Diego, for Ocean Blues, about 13 miles off the inlet, we got there in about an hour and 20 mins. Not a bad night, 15 to 20 Gorilla Blues. No pics this time the damn battries died just as I was taking the picture. I will be heading back their this Saturday for one last chance at a keeper Fluke, before the season closes. Anyway Keep those lines tight and take a kid fishing.

Well I went back out to the Captree Boat Basin this past weekend, I went on the Tradewinds II, a few shorts, no keepers for me this time, there was young lady (80 yrs young if that old) on the boat and brought up a 10 pounder, her 60 or so yr young daughter brought up an 11 pounder. I know she won the boat pool, she may have won the dock pool as well. As always keep your lines tight and take a kid fishing....
