Isn't there a lake outside of Queens or something with a Northern Snakehead population.  Those sick fish should be eradicated from this country.  Despite their fighting power on hook and line, they're no good.

I say they sacrifice one lake and poison it.  It's for the greater good.  Better to finish the population when it's confined to one lake.  Imagine how bad it would be if they spread throughout the state of New York and all throughout the U.S. and Canada?

I don't think they could spread through Canada, but they could certainly cause some damage here in the U.S.

Probably not into the further reaches of Canada, but you never know.  There are populations of snakeheads in Asia.  In fact, that is one place where they ARE native.  Any way, I do some fishing in southern Quebec, and there is no doubt that that particular lake could harbor big populations  of snakeheads.

Check out the following videos.  They look like they'd be fun to catch, but you really can't keep them in a pond unless you put an electric fence around it.  Whoever brought them over needs to be sued, these fish will devistate a good fishery.
