    Hello my name is Kevin and I live in upstate NY, Albany area. And am always looking for any good fishing spots within my area, Any advice would be greatly appericated.

    Welcome Kevin; you didn't mention whether you have a boat or not? If you do some great fishing available w/in 30-60 miles such as Champlain; Saratoga Lake; Cassayuna; try canal area behind police station in Mechanicsville (catch & release only)-example of possible catches 40" Pike; 2-3 & larger smallies; pound ciscoes and gills; 20 lb. cats.  No boat needed here.
