Hey all,

I'm new to NC. I currently live in Raleigh, a grad student at NC State. I'd like to learn to surf fish. Where are some close locations to Raleigh to hit the surf and be productive? I'm especially interested in flouder fishing. Is this better done in brackish inlets? What are some good locations to start? baits to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated. As a side bar, I'd like to catch a few crab on a throw line as well. Is there a good location for this?
