Will be busy thls weekend so will post early with next  2 groups. #14- 2cnd set of posts E of Main Boat Ramp ("the suburbs")N39 57.168 W 083 43.588  - 15 "C" trees w brush , 12 are inside or along side posts 9-14' deep , 3 are 15' closer to shore in 8-10' of water 55-60, off shore. Surprisingly, this set has repeatedly out produced  #12!    #15- 6 sets of 12  cedar brush blocks  (no "C" trees)  #15A- N39 57.383 W 83 43.385  on outside of S breakwater of Marina - 3 sets of 36 blocks in 8-15' water 20-30' from shore  #15 B- N39 57.366  W 83 43.389  2 sets  in "V" pointing to large tree 8-15' deep  20-30' off shore   #15C- N39 57.339  W83 43.386  1 set of 12  8-15' deep 15-25' off shore. These went in Oct 20th  '09 . According to 2 different witnesses,  one being a Park Ranger, of the 8-9 boats out on CJ, 6 were clustered on #15A and B, the Ranger said he walked out onto breakwater and was sure he saw 40-50 fish caught in lrss than 30 minutes he was out there. Said he was dubious before about potental of project, admitted he was buying a license this year. Good luck fishing these. Respectfully, the Friends of CJ Brown Reservoir.

Being a beautiful if breezy day and unable to get up the Crabill House road, the 2 of us went to lootsome fish off of #15A. 3 others were fishing in the Marina, catching a few bluegill in front of the Baitshop. We drilled our holes and were just settling in when Jasons icepole attempted to do a nose dive into the hole with a screaming drag as the young buck pulled a Jackie Chan move and was on his feet, alas minus what ever ripped his minnow literally to shreads. We were duelly impressed! Next Jason proceeds to nail 2 large gills in one hook set. OK, then , as he`s unhooking them, away the other pole goes AGAIN, same result. Another minnow shreaded. In 4 hrs score is 14 keeper gills, 6 small crappie, and 2 more shreadded minnows with same special effects. And myself? 2 small gills. Will try again tommorow, same area , same bait but this time so light  if the fish breath on it am going to know. Out of no where we had 5 other guys show up; they also had some sucess.

Jason and 2 other hardy hardly dressed friends embarked upon ye ole cement block bomber and tied up upon #14, the 2cnd set of  posts E from Main Boat Ramp on a 3 hr tour...does this sound vaguely familar? Our intrepid if lightly clad gentlemen endured a few gusts of wind, abit of pitch and yawl?, and of course a rain that for a couple of minutes would do Seattle or even Sumatra proud, persauvering to nail 1- 14", 2-12"  crappies and 8 more all over 10"   plus 1-9" gill. They came back in at  speed and scrambled off dragging a cooler with one hand, and hoisting their sodden shorts with the other, truely a Kodak moment if ever there was one...
