Will be busy the next 2 wks below the Crabill House so will post last 3 groups already done now.  #16 N39 57.469 W 083 43.240  Handicap fishing platform on N outer shore of Marina 18 "C" trees (5 with brush) in 3 rows- 1st row 8 "C" trees only inline 15-25' off shore in front of old sign post 40' W of platform  2cnd row  5"C" trees with brush inline 15-25' off NW corner of platform in 8-15' water  3rd row 5 "C" trees only 15-25' off shore NE corner of platform  in 8-15' water. This spot was ON FIRE from early April untill mid June last year, several persons fishing it said  it produced over 100 fish (OK, not all keepers)  3 or 4 times during  this period. And not just crappies, atleast 4 large bass were caught there as well.  #17 N39 57.535 Wo83 43.232  8 "C" trees only  NE corner of bay N of Marina (Catfish Cove) 2/5ths distance of eroding bluff from Lakeside Trail in 8-15' this is the least well known and smallest set. During a SW wind several boaters reported doing very well fishing the deeper edges, one had 10 15" crappies and 1 14" smallmouth from there.  #18 The Gravel Bar running E to W topping  "Catfish Cove"  60 cedar brush blocks (no "C" trees)  in 5 sets each  1st set- N39 57.798 W 083 43.450  2cnd set N39 57.755 W083 43.489  3rd set N39 57.720 W083 43.422  4th set 39 57.604 W083 43.369  5th set failed due to sudden gust of wind during drop, too shallow , will be redone. More will be added later this summer extending the line W. Except for set 5 all are in 8-15' deep and being brush blocks none is over 18" tall. Good luck fishing these. As always, respectfully, The FRiends of CJ Brown Reservoir

Yestrerday 40+ WB caught on #16 one gentleman had  7 over 12" on silver rooster tail spinner, said lost 2 spinners, but  was taking his sore wrist and nice catch home- hoped his hand was up to cleaning them. Also said he might slip bobber fish next time, shallow. I did express sympathy and suggested BenGay and a day of rest. He looked at me quite strangely and said he`d find the strenght to cast a Winget on out there TOMMOROW (his emphisice, not mine)   Would think he`s coming down with a serious case of white bass fever, literally.
