Carldrake - Yes you can get up the Sandusky river from Sandusky bay to Fremont, but you realty need to know where you are going because of the sand bars & other shallow places in the river. The mouth of the Sandusky River is especially hard to navigate due to mud flats. If you want to fish the Sandusky River at Fremont, I suggest you launch your boat at the Tackle Box Marina near down town. Hope this helps you.
