Some of us from the ohio chapter are putting together a panfish tournament on Oct. 9th at Indian lake. Details are still in the works. If anyone is interested in joining us for the day and maybe a fish fry afterwards let me know.

Ok sorry you can't make it. We will probably have another in the spring. We want to try different lakes. Maybe we could do one at CJ Brown next year.

Checked scheadule, may be able to and would like to. And you would be welcome to help loot the lake at CJ, sir. Could perhaps procure a copy of the latest additions and judge for yourself. And forgive my seeming over confidence, but when`s the last time you got tired of catching fish...? And a word of advice from the Surgeon General; excessive reeling CAN lead to a chronic inflamation of both the elbow joint-("fisherman`s elbow") and/ or of the wrist-("reelin` wrist syndrom"), both caused by excessive catch (and hopefully release SOME) rates; while uncommon anymore, it IS entirely treatable and preventable- DO YARD WORK INSTEAD! Hopefully see you soon. Wed Sept 15 will be assembling the next 100+...12:30ish down the maint lane.

Not to ask you to divulge any GPS coordinates or such type information, but do you normally fish below the spillway this time of year? Remember yrs ago fishing with a friend and caught several NICE sm bass and 2- 3 largish (12"?) crappie, in earlly Fall there.

Lately I have been catching some nice gills and a few mediocre size crappie on docks and along some riprap. As the water gets cooler the fish will start moving into the pads. Unfortunately with this record heat we are having the water temps are going in the wrong way. Hopfully it will cool down before then.
