    Has anyone fished lake Watonga, in Roman Nose State Park, up by Tishomingo. I have fished if for Trout but never for any other species in there. It is only about 55. acres of surface water, but I have heard of some of the bass being pulled out of there.
    September 2006 they did a shock test in the lake, and a bass that topped the scales at over 10lbs, and about 5 or more that weighed over 9lbs, came to the surface after sending out the shock, and all the fish over 6 lbs had a trout in there mouth or trout in there stomach. They have only been stocking the trout for a few years now (i think) and have seen a great improvement in the size of bass in the lake. Smiler<!--graemlin::)-->

    so, has anyone fished this lake, particulary for bass, or any other species other than the winter trout?
