is there any one been out catfishing around okla or is it to hot get out on the lake or river or is everybody down south nooding

We didn't bring much home from the lake Sunday night. One thing's for sure though, there's ALOT of 3 - 4 in catfish in that lake. Every time we threw out a net for shad we'd end up with more little cats than we did shad.

im fishing in the arkansas tonight through haskell muskogee county and last night they were hitting like crazy we caught about 7 3/4 pounders and 1 18 pounder bluegill was the bait of choice

Hey Andrew, had to look at a map to see just where you might be fishing. I've fished Kerr a few times and I fish Tenkiller quite a bit. Have you ever gone after stripers ? I've been told where the Arkansas meets the Illinois is great striper fishing, but I've never tried them.
