Since this area is supposed to be for inquiring about fishing partners I reckon I will be the first since I dont see anyone else asking in all the posts.

I live in SE portland and I fish for just about whatever swims around here. Im set up for salmon/steelhead, trout mainly. I have a float tube but no boat. Im interested in spring salmon fishing and sturgeon fishing. I dont have any sturgeon poles or tackle so I dont get to go sturgeon fishing unless one of my friends are going. Definitely able to help with bait/fuel costs. I am on disability right now after having spinal surgery so Im available all days.

Hope to hear from someone out there cause its been a long winter and I need a fishing fix soon or Im going to go crazy with cabin fever. Keep on hooking.

    yer pal Brian

Hello Brian!! I know how you feel about cabin fever, I am stuck in the house after having a surgery on my shoulder last month. I've got a steel rod in my right shoulder now, Soooooo I am hoping it adds  20/30 ft. to my cast & now I can reel in the really big ones!

I also live in SE Portland, maybe we can hook up !!

You two hook up yet?  Where can the three of us meet for coffee Monday morning?  I have a conference call I have to be on from 9:00 - 10:00, but I'm free until about 8:30 before.  Or we could maybe meet Thursday in the morning.  What do you guys say?

Dave , I just returned from a mini vacation! Since I am off work I went back to Kentucky to visit my Son & Daughter. I had a real blast with the grandkids but they sure can ware an old man out!

I am going to be off work a few more weeks so maybe we can hook up most anytme. I am hoping that the snow is gone up at Lake Merwin so I can get up to see how my boat is holding up. I want to bring it home so I can get it ready for the Spring Fishing . Motor needs a tune up & I am still thinking of finding a newer trolling motor..........more later........Richard

    Hi Guys:

I live down here in Jackson County(Medford)and I too am suffering from Cabin Fever. If I could hook up with some fishin buddies it would be great. we could meet at Bad Ass Coffee because I live near there. there are some ponds near the fair grounds in Central Point that have some nice Bass as well as some other fish.

    hey Brian ,

i am sittin here also, license in my pocket new boat hooked to truck . my wife insists i have some body to go with me on its maiden voyage. my schedule is way open . there are springers being caught.  i talked to a guide buddy tuesday and he hooked two landed zero on quick fish wraped lost 1 to a sea lion and one at the boat . another guide went sturgeon fishing yesterday and they stated at least 50 mostly shakers . i have rods and some bait . thursdays are really great days to go fishing. water traffic is light and you can keep both types of fish and most people are working. only thing i could hope for would be better weather. meldrum bar is a good place to start or Willamette park in the St john area

I also live in Medford, I like to fish the upper Rogue and the Cascade lakes. I can't wait for the snow to melt off up in the high cascades. My favorite place is Four Mile Lake as far as lake fishing and River Bridge area for river fishing. I haven't been disappointed yet, but I guess there a first for everything.

Hey, My name is Bernie and I live in Oregon City.  I too have had it with the long winter. I have a licence, boat (no fish finder) and gear.  I have never caught a salmon or a sturgeon yet.  Not for a lack of trying.  I primarly fish trout in lakes and streams. I love to catch bass also. I would love to hook up and fish.  I have every Thursday and Friday off.  My email is bernienichols3@comcast.net

    Hey Bernie,

Welcome to the club and BB.  I'm in Wilsonville, but my job has been taking up way too much time lately.  I'm thinkig soon the Northern Oregon guys should get together for coffee soon.  We have the long summer ahead, and I'd like to get to know you guys.

McRob,                 New to forum and I'm also looking for a or some fishing partners. I live in Tillamook, have a 15' boat and I'm gearing up for salmon fishing, they are coming in the Nehalem River right now and sometime in Sept. they'll be coming into the Tillamook Bay and rivers. I am retired and on a fixed income if you want to help out with fuel and bait and can go out most any time. I also do some sturgeon fishing when the salmon aren't running.                    Robert McConnell      email- mrobert650@charter.net

Nice to have you here Mcrob.  I live in Klamath Falls, so I don't get up that way.  There are several members up that way that might be interested in meeting up for some fishing.  Nice salmon.

    Hey McRob,

JustDave here in Wilsonville.  I fish mainly from Nehalem to Nestuc and most  in between.  I'm on the mend right now, but will be ready in a month or two to get after 'em again.  I float my drift boat most of the time, but wouldn't mind trading trips some time.  Helping with bait and gas not an issue.  I'll send you a PM when the health is right.

    Thanks Mike,

It's coming around pretty quick.  Don't tell anyone, but I went fishing on Sat.  Got a couple small Bass from a camp chair at a friends pond.
