Hey everyone, So I am moving to Hillsboro, Oregon and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on fishing the area. I have been on the Fish and Wildlife site and got the basics. I have been fly fishing for trophy trout in southeastern Idaho/Yellowstone area for about 6 years now, but salmon fishing is going to be a new ball game. Any info or willingness to take me out on the river would be great.

Welcome to Oregon.  Are you going after the Salmon with flies or gear?  Once my leg gets better, I'll be going several times a week again but I don;t use a fly rod for Salmon or Steelhead.  Send me a PM if you'd like.
