well hello all.  i hope you had a great and bless Thanksgiving.  as far as what is new , after years of wanting a Cadillac Escalade i finally bought one it is used but with only 35,000 miles it is the buggy of my dreams.  i can now not only transport my portable handicapped scooter but the is enough room for fishing gear.

The test went fine.  It was just the pre-operation testing...lungs, blood, cardio, etc.  I see my doctor next week for a final exam, switch my blood thinners to injectable type and then surgery on the 17th...piece of cake!

I'm not even hunting and today I saw 24 deer one of which was a 4 or 6pter. I hope when muzzleloading season opens up I could be so lucky.

OBTW 15 degrees here today. Two days in a row the high temps didn't get to 32 degrees. A thin layer of ice on the lake. This keeps up they will be ice fishing by the first of the year.

I got a call late this afternoon from my anestgeoligst (the doctor that puts you under for surgery).  It seems there is an irregularity in my EKG.  He won't do the surgery until I see a heart doctor...Just what I need!  I am waiting for a recommendation from my family doctor.  I hope I get that call tomorrow.  With this new development the knee surgery may be postponed....

Stan said we are in for some plowing snow so I've been getting ready. He had three old tire chains that we got to fit my tractor so I will not have to push back the driveway so far with the better traction. Blade is brushed down and wax added so let her come !!!!!!

Things did not go well with the cardio doctor.  An extra blip shows up on my EKG.  There are several things it could be (including some sort of blockage) or nothing at all.  The electrical current in the heart muscle is not correct.  I will have a stress test on Monday (4 hour).  My blood pressure is up some but that is due to the stress of this situtation...This may postpone my knee surgery...

Good Morning Barry and Scott and all that stop in. It is 12 degrees here in NY Sorry that you can't get out on the last day Scott. I wacked a deer on the way to work this week. It ran into the rear right tire and wheel. Put a slight dimple behind the tire and cracked the paint. I guess you'll be eatin fillets instead of steaks.

Morning everyone,It's defenitly icy up here I went out to salt the driveway and walkway before Tina gets home from work and I nearly lost it! guess it's time to pull out my ice studs for my boots.spent all day yesterday workin up firewood so now my back feels like i was hit with a baseball bat falling on the ice is the last thing i need. A couple shots of Jack would work for me,I gotta go to a get together with my wifes family her dad's side tonight.

WELL TODAY IS THE DAY I AM BUYING MY SON A USED SUV.  A 1997 CHEVY BLAZER WITH ONLY 70,000 MILES ON IT AND BOY IS HE EXCITED AND I AM EXCITED SEEING IT THRU HIS EYES, AND I THANK GOD I CAN AFFORD TO DO IT .

Good mornin' everyone!  Whew!  The testing is over and today I'll have a sit down with the doctor to go over the results...I had to wear a monitor all day and night.  Sorry I didn't post yesterday but I had a computer melt down!   So far the knee surgery is a go...Ya'll have a grape day!

The knee surgery is up in the air again...My heart doctor said I have partial blockage in the front and left side of the heart.  This will mean a heart catherization tomorrow morning.  If they have to put in a stint I will have to stay in the hospital over night for observation...That will postpone the knee surgery.   Soooo, at this point I don't know what ta say.  As you can guess, this is a big shock to me.  I'll go to a scout meeting tonight and try to think about something else...  I'll do my best to keep ya posted.

 We have to take the Baby to Hershey a week after Christmas for Surgery.They had to wait until he was atleast 6 months old before they could do it due to having to have to put him under.When they went to give him his circumcision they found a slit in (as the doctor told us)his pee hole which isn't serious but when he gets older it would cause him to pee more toward the bottom instead of straight out the end,really messin with his aim!! so they just need to stitch it up, realign the hole and finish the circumcision.We were told it's more common then we thought and his isn't near as severe has some of the cases he's seen.

 We were supposed to go tomorrow but our Insurance Co. hadn't Approved the surgery yet which I think is a bunch of bull.The CEO of it must of had to get his girlfriend or wife or both a boob job first!!They have there priorities ya know

Welp, I was home by noon.  Seems that the doctor made a mistake on which of my meds I can take the day of my proceedure.  I am rescheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:30 am...

It all turned out for the good.  My arteries that feed my heart are clear!  It will take a few days to heal but I should be back to tying by Sunday.
