Thanks guys.... i'll admit, once september comes around i'm kind of a ghost around the bb..... i spend most of my time about 30 feet up a tree w/ my bow for the next 5 months..... but i always come back in january, ready to go for the season.... i like to post my reports so everyone has a beter idea where to go, my only issue now is finding the spots i used to fish before i left (and finding some new ones).... Lyco, my family and i have a cabin near Ralson on Mcyntire mountain.... in sits about 30 yards from a beautiful deep pool on Rock Run..... i love fishing up there, i will be sure to let you know if i am heading up there

Rock Runs a great stream I always fish it in spring and hit it a few times through the year. When water Temps get warm and the trout aren't bitten anywhere else we always head up there. The water always stays colder in Rock Run then any other stream feeding Lycoming Creek.

Chris is that the cabin with all the rock piles at the steel bridge?

I could be wrong,But I've fished all the way up and down Rock Run.

Have you ever been up to Masten the old ghost town?

My Great Grandfather worked up in the sawmill, he maintained the steam engines that ran the mill,in the 30's near the end of the log boom.I used to sit for hours listening to him telling stories about jumpin the train in Williamsport and jumping off of it in Ralston then walking up the mountain to go to work and if he missed it at night he would have to walk from Masten to Williamsport. He told me one time he jumped off and didn't jump far enough to clear the telegraph wire and had to straddle while running along the moving train. The train didn't stop in Williamsport or Ralston so he had to run to catch it and run after jumping off or fall and get zapped by the wire.

its close to the rock piles, a little further upstream though, maybe 500 yards past the bridge on the right .... its near a set of falls that come down into a huge deep pool, i think its like 14 or 15 feet deep
