Good Morning Howard , Pete , bigbarry.......................I have not done a thing yet Howard , barn area don't look to bad nice drift out in front about 10' to 15' from the door that will save me a LOT of shovel work. Poor Gracies needs a vest it's over her belly when she goes out...........LOL..............the one drift beteewn Carol cars is up to the hood on the Rav4.............. still snowing here I'll have to go out soon and push some back I'm sure we are over 20" now. Carol worked from home yesterday and today so I didn't have to go out in that nasty wind and white out deal yesterday...............stay warm everyone............Poor Scott must be stuck some place , hope he's safe. |

Your on your own Howard, I been out there since 11:15am and I'm not half done yet. Nasty deep drifts from the corner all the way down to the end 3' to 5' deep and lest than 10' apart. Glad I got lots of deisel fuel and chains , I had her stuck for a bit trying to take a short cut. I have to push back with the bucket on both sides just the with of it (5') all the way down. I came in for coffee now it's time to go back out I'm not sure what the un-drifted total was but I'm sure it's over 24"................. oh it's still snowing......wawawa!!!!!!!..................lol WALLEYE KING #1 wrote: |

Well, I got out for a while yesterday. All I caught was a few large snags that stole my rigs. A person could open a tackle shop with what we loose in that spot. Actually, I heard rumors that someone put a snag line and harvests the tackle and sells it in a yardsale. That's messed up.

Morning Pete, Sd, Ed and all others. Pete, with how cold this winter has been I'de be surprised if the marsh is ice free. I know a few years ago me and Bruce went down in March and from the no wake zone and up was iced over.  I hope it is open cause I'm ready to get out there! Just gotta get a weekend we're not working! Good morning single dad - well, here in Johnstown it's supposed to start warming up tomorrow (highs near 40 degrees). maybe the ice will start melting on the lakes soon and we can get back out there! Got our licenses and the boat registered so we are set to go when the weather starts cooperating! |

Good Mornin' Y'all. 56* here rite now and the sun be shining. I was out yesterday raking the stones out of the yard from the snow blower and I took down the fencing from around the garden and took off the black plastic, since I will not be planting this year. I need to do some more raking today and maybe work on the boat. Have a Great Day and get out and enjoy enjoy the Great Outdoors. As Manny Gordon would say.

Good Mornin' all. 45* and dreary here now. They are calling for possible floods from melting snow and rain we are going to get this weekend. Frank keep dem flood gates closed will ya. I got the boat out, cleaned it up, fixed a leak in the livewell hose near the pump, made sure all the electronics were in good working condition, started the motor and ran all the fogging solution out of it(there were no bugs around during this) and all I have to do now is wait for open water. Yes Frank the boat will be going with me when we move. Have a Great Day. ___

Probally Allen and I are going to fish Harveys Lake this coming Wednesday and see if we can catch a few Brownies and check for the crappie before they close the lake down the 31st of this month till the 17th of April for the opening day of trout. Afternoon all. We hit Blue Marsh this morning, caught a nice smallie to start off then some hybrid stripers and another smaller smallie in the mix. Bruce caught two nice hybrids and a largemouth. Gotta get to bed for work tonight, will try to post pics tomorrow. Have a great day all!

Good morning Howard and anyone else to pop in. Good luck to you guys Howard! Went to the Dr. yesterday. He gave me a couple shots in the back and some manipulation. Feels a little better but still hurting. Gotta go back tomorrow morning then go from there. Might be going back to work by Sunday night if it feels well enough and the Dr. lets me so not sure I'll be able to do the meet and eat? I'll keep you informed. Have a great day everyone!

After that I think the best therapy would be to get a fishing pole in your hand. Maybe someone could take you down to the river and you could sit on the bank and cast out. Anyone thats been out fishing, what's the water temps about right now? I think it would be to cold yet for bass, but I don't know since I don'tr have a fishfinder to check the water temp.
