Anyone ever fish at beltzville lake?

I have although its been a couple of years. Plenty of sunfish with a couple of bass. Biggest problem during the weekend is the yahoos from Philly that come up and run their large boats up and down the lake. Some of them look like theyre putting the Queen Mary out to sea. Then your really stuck to the NE end of the lake where it is no wake. Try to fish it b4 the summer really get going and its not bad.

Is there anywhere that you can fish from the shore if you are trying to catch something other than sunnys

I have fished beltzville often the last three years now and there are many who fish from the shore. You can park at one of the two loading ramp areas and fish throughout the lake. I have not caught many sunfish but there are numerous other fish. The biggest problem is not other boats it's the PWC which try to come as close as possible to the fishing boats and making big waves. Although I don't know where they reside but you can fish during the week and eliminate that problem. I'm retired which makes it easier to avoid them. When the weather brakes I could take you out if you can get days off during the week. jgage
