We are either fishing ( been awfully cold & wet for that lately ),

would you believe working ( Naaa), shoveling coal fly ash (thank you TVA),

or breaking in a new LapTop computer ( first in 8+ years).

I dunno! I don't post  because nothing of interest is posted. I wish it would warm up.

5 degrees this morning 8 tomorrow. teens,20's highs 38 for the highest until thursday next week. Unusally cold for this area South of Knoxville.

Must be all the computers are broke or nobody has fingers anymore.Just joking. Could someone please pass on some info about Ky Lake on the thread I posted, it would be greatly appreciated.I'm just a hick from St.Louis who doesn't have a clue.Steve

I'll tell you why nobody from TN posts.TN is the lousiest state in the US if you ask me,depending on the city you live in.I hate TN.I'm a resident from the Mc minnville area and they have this state park Rock Island where the waters have been low for awhile and they say now it will stay low for 7-10 years,like they aren't gonna improve the waters around here.TN makes me wanna explode.I hate this state.I plan to relocate soon.Is there anyone else here from TN?If so,what do you think?You might actually like TN if you're from the bigger towns like Nashville or Knoxville,but if you're in the Mc minnville are or near it,it makes you wanna explode because the waters are so lousy and they have no plans to clean them up.I hate TN.Warning do not come here if you haven't yet.You'll be sorry you did as lousy as TN is!TN is a waste of your time and money!

 

 

 

I just read this and fishermanj I wish you would hurry up and relocate and quit complaining about the whole state just cause you are unhappy with McMinnville. The rest of the state has some great fishing and if you would get in your car and drive a little farther north or south you would find this out. I moved here from a small town in Kentucky over 21 years ago and have never looked back. I grew up fishing on Norris lake just north of Knoxville and can tell you it is a fabulous and beautiful lake. I now fish on lake Chicamauga here in Chattanooga and as far as beauty it doesn't compare to Norris, but it still has some great fishing. I guess my point is if you don't have anything good to say about McMinnville quit knocking the rest of the state and it's residents.

mmarcum6 people have a right to know to to expect when they come!!I know Mc Minnville is the worst city and as far as complaining goes I can complain about it if I want.I pay for the fishing license and I have a right to get what I pay for,so keep that to yourself and move along!!!The rest of the state might be better,but they still have this part to clean up too,it's still TN so yap on all you want,but it's TN for you.I am relocating to a better state ASAP.TN isn't worth its environment.There's better fishing out there than in TN!! mmarcum6 you believe what you want,but I will post what I feel like about this state and the only one who can say anything is the site owner,not you,so go on with yourself.People have a right to know what's out there before trying to waste a trip.Everyone chooses for theirself.I'm just letting some people know that you may not like TN depending on the city you live in,if you attempt to visit and if you do get to Mc minnville and get a lucky whopper,spread the news because sofar every fisherman in this city complains about no luck.People walk up all the time and say "Catch Anything,I haven't" and if everyone is saying it that should go to show it's Mc minnville so believe what you want mmarcum6,but I will tell others what to expect,if I feel like!!!

fishermanj I wasn't trying to bash you and hope you didn't take it that way. I have a friend who lives up there and he has to travel to other areas to fish as he said it is awful there. The only thing that bugged me is it is not the whole state it is just where you are living. There may be reasons they haven't done anything there or there may not. Please except my appolige if I offended you as that was not my intention. You do have a right to speak your opinion I just wish you would not include the state as a whole.

Yeah I already knew what you said,but it's still their responsibility to clean up the town.Mc minnville pays for fishing license,like the rest of the state.They should improve these waters too,is what I was getting at.I've even went to other areas nicer like Center Hill,but they should work on Mc Minnville too and they're too helpless to do anything.I understand you weren't trying to offend me,but I was just making my point clear.Enjoy yourself my friend and good luck out there!!

Thanks and I hope you find some better places to fish and as I said in an earlier post come on down to Chattanooga and I can point you to some decent fishing.

mmarcum6 I think I noticed the park you were talking about.It is a nicer park than around here.Is it Booker T Washington State park or something like that?I drove up that way and yeah them waters are alot nicer than these waters.Mc Minnville is the worst city,but anyways good luck catching the whoppers!
