hi fellow Texas fishermen, My name is Raymond Olivas II from Odessa, TX where we have to drive a couple hours to get to the nearest lake and this is my first post, I'll be heading out to Champion Creek Lake this Saturday 5-23-07 has anybody fished there that can give me a few pointers. I'll be taking my 17 ft Bass Tracker to try out, heard there's is some damn good fishing there so I hope we get lots of big fish fighting us. According to the TPW site the fishing there is good so hopefully all is in our favor. I'm a new NAFC life member 32 years old, have been a huge fishing buff ever since I can remember but don't have much bass fishing experience, hopefully I can get some pointers on here from my fellow NAFC members and wish us luck this weekend Raymond Olivas II Odessa, TX

i fish in west texas in the fall. do not believe the tpw fishing reports. they still show good fishing for reds in nasworthy. they have not been catching any for a couple of years now. i am gonna fish twin buttes this fall.
