Well made it out today to test out the new boat. Launched at Fox Park, got pretty for out there but no luck. The water was about 1 foot of chop. Maybe next time I go out the wind won't be as strong. Still need to learn to fish for crappie and bass. Anyway had a blast drive the new boat around.

hey wglass , if your looking for the crappie out at granger , most of them are up in the river right now . they moved up just before the whites . if you  want to do the river , but not in the new boat , hit me back . i have an extra kayak . one key on that lake to finding fish is to fish the wind blown shores . due to lake being down this past summer , a lot of brush piles got moved . i can show you where some may still be . if not . we can always make some new ones .  as for decker , if your looking for bass right now , try the north east corner . thats the discharge side . water temp on that side is warmer and the fish are more active there .   as for g-town , try the cliffs across from russel park . off that cliff , water drops from 30' to 50' with in ten yards of the bank . pulled a many of good slabs from there .

fishing is life , everything else is just details . and i prefer my tails with specks or spots .15 miles NE of austin
