after kids baseball games , got a late start on the river . caught a few dinks south of the primitive launch . north of it , caught about six pushing 10" . i got wind that the crappie were on the bite after dark along the bank . i could not confirm that due to getting up early to run the austin 10k . texan4UT, great to see you again . hope did better after i left . catch ya soon ...

about an hour b/f to half hour after dark crappie seem to be on the bite..........they are catching catfish up to 30# below the spill way on cut shad. I have been upriver to the primitive camp site and done well with crappie several times......but no whites this year

this year has been hit and miss . i did see one stringer with some nice cats come in . they said they caught them just down from the primitive camp grounds . i have only  caught three females this year but around 60 males . due to river changes , it's been crazy . i will hit you up on my next run , maybe we can run the river . i have the kayaks ....
