    I recently responded to a post under the member meet section of this forum about a get together of utah members. Is there any interest from any utah members on doing this? i would be interested to find out if it would work out to have a get togher and would like to hear ideas about how to arrange this, what to do and where to have it? I live in the salt lake valley and had a few thought about a location in the area not to far from salt lake.

    Sounds like fun. I'm also in the valley but would not mind a bit of a trip it it meant we could get a few more people there.

    I would be up for a meet but lets wait until the weather gets nicer and we can make a family day of it. Maybe a cat fish derby on Utah Lake or a thing up at Strawberry.

    I just bought a boat and need to get it ready for the water.

    sounds good PM me. I have been looking into spots to hold this that may have a group pavilion. I am checking on a possible spot on utah lake right now. also Jordanelle and deer creek have group spots. So far its not much of a group yet but may leed to something as we get further into it.

    I have held two about ten years ago. The first went well the second was a dud. If you get it going feel free to contact me and I will see what my schedule says to attend. They are fun and it is great to meet the other members in the area.

    Hello Albinotrout. You were the one who had originally posted a thread on a utah meet that i saw and got me thinking. I would like to see some activity from other utah members but have had limited responses from other ut members as you can see from the board. I sort of let this topic rest recently because of the response. utfisher and Ihugelen have been the only others besides you. I am still interested, maybe we should give it another shot. since I don't see anywere to PM you since the forum changes go ahead and shot me an email and that goes for any other ut member who may be interested in a get together. brian.petersen@imail.org

    I think the reason that not many are here on the utah board is because they are all over on the BFT.

    short for big fish tackle www.bigfishtackle.com Pretty good site. Lots of info. It is message boards. One for each state plus some.  I use to be on the NAFC boards all the time and then was introduced by another member to the BFT.  Now I am there most of the time.  I usually hang out on the Utah board and the Float tubing board.  Starting to post info on the Colorado board now due to fishing in Grand Junction this year.  Sometimes on fly fishing and Utah Fly fishing boards as well.
