I am a Life member from california, I just moved to south utah(St. George/Ivins) and I am looking for some info on local fishing. Any help you can give would be great. I am also having a hard time just locating a place to fish.

    Thanks for your time.

Welcome to Utah!!! Well since you are in St George there are a couple of great places to fish just to the north of you near a small town called Hurricane. They are two state parks. Quail creek and Sand Hollow. Both are full of bass and both are really hot fishing right now.  Also there are a couple of community ponds down there as well.  Here are a couple of links to help you out. One is for the community fishing booklet handed out by the DWR and the other is for the state parks.

Welcome To Utah Robert.  What kind of fishing are you interested in? If you, check out one of the utah fishing guide books or stop in one of your local shops. Albinotrout is correct about sand hollow and quail creek. The utah state record largemouth came from quail.    Hope to here more from you!!
