Hey utah members been out of touch with this website for awhile but wanted to share a story from my last trip as you know I have been trying to catch all species of fish in utah and the one fish that has been the hardest to hook into has for sure been the walleye I have tried through the ice and many times from shore but never could catch one then I decided to invest in a hobie kayak they are amazing but I decided to go to starvation hearing that they have the highest population of eye in utah so I set out Very early sun was not even out was about 430 am and alot colder than I thought but knowing walleye feed at night I threw my kayak in and started fishing what happens next you will just have to watch

That is a nice walleye. Make a nice meal or trophy. A litle info on starvation while you were there. How high is the water? Is the reservoir filling up? What part of the reservoir were you in? I fished there several times last year and am looking forward to going back again soon. Dude you need a net on that kayak. I would recommend one of the folding nets. Several companies make them now. Frabil, cabelas, atwood (yes you can find it at walmart). I have one of the frabil nets and I love it on my toon. Keep fishin'
