Just thought I'd bring up a new post. Seemed like everyone was using the sign in a lot & it was hard to tell if there were any new post. I went fishing on 1/8 & caught a couple striper at Smith Mtn using a 1/2 oz. spoon, was nice to get out & catching some fish was just a bonus. Bass 11 brings up a good idea which has been mentioned b4 but don't seem to get off the ground, a Member Meet... does Smith Mtn. or Kerr Reservoir\ Buggs Island  sound like a place ta get together? hope we can pull one off this year. A meet is a great idea I'm up for one. Went to buggs on sunday had a great day. Hooked up on 7 stripers, biggest was 10 and half lbs. We were off the main channel in a bay trolling large minnows. Mike

Oldguard, I don't know the lakes well I go w/  friends but I think you'd lovem', someone was tellin me to go & put in at Hardy they were having good luck (smith mtn.) I caught mine in Bull Run off a lake point... seen the birds flocking. Basser where ya movin to?         As far as the meet its still early so lets toss around a few ideas on time & place  Talk to yall soon Darrell
