if foster falls is right by the virginia tech campus and near a campround called new river junstion then yes wading is definitely possible. lots of smallmouth, red eyes, rock bass, catfish, and and sunfish around. easy way to fish is light spin gear with inline spinners. little mepps, and fiore fox inlines are devastating. throw them jsut about anywhere adn vary the retrieve speed. smallmouth will annihalate them. if you can catch some live crawdads use those on a j hook wiht a big split shot for some bigger small mouth. ive had two citations out of that river |
