Went on Potomac today.Caught 3, 5-7inch large mouth and a bunch of white perch(perfect bait size).
                         If your fishing the Potomac let me know what your catching and where.

fishing has been pretty good..... lots of perch and panfish when i take the kids fishing..... a lot of bass up to 4 ibs or so on topwaters, senkos, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits..... more big catfish than i care to catch, especially when using herring for stripers.....stripers and shad in the occoquan....fishing is pretty good all over this area

           Hey sgt did you try Lake Jackson yet?I think ill go fish it this comming week.Caught a couple decent channel cats the other day at Occuaquan with my daughter(using clam snouts) .No bites on worms.  Hoping to catch some perch for live bait they don`t seem to be up in their like the Potomac.We were at the dock at the park.My boat only holds one person.Duck boat converted to fishing.Kinda kayak/pontoon,it`s a otter phantom.Pretty stable for a little boat.I`ve stood up init,fly fishing.

                  I havn`t been in a long time.Plenty large mouth small mouth, cats ect...It`s off 123 by Burk lake.Some guy the other day told me to go to Foultanhead lake. It`s suppost to be hittin right now.All 3 Lakes are stocked yearly.

i think he meant to tell you fountain head......in is a park on the occoquan reservoir...... i was there a week ago and the water looked like chocolate milk.... got two on senkos and that was it....it was pretty bad

Hey sgt.No wonder the Occoquan is so polluted.I`ll have to get a map for lake Jackson.Its been a long time sense i`ve been their.I`ve heard its bad at Manassas lake also,but I havn`t been there sense i was a kid.If we keep everbody informed they wont have too waste there time.

i looked up lake jackson  and found out its is a private lake....you have to be a member of the lake jackson home owners assoc. or some crap like that

no hunting run....it is near fredericksburg.....nice reservoir....A LOT of bass.....a bunch of nice pickerel
