Hi there Blind Dog,

We have been doin a little fishin but work has kept me some buisy.

The Smallmouth have been very friendly but the Walleye seem to have fallen of the face of the earth here. We have picked up some nice Crappie this year.

We did not get out this weekend because of the heat, in the hundreds here.

Pretty toasty here too. The king fishery is due to start tomarrow on the Columbia. I can be on the water in 15 minutes, fish for a few hours and run like mad for the airconditioner. Plus, I may not have to take out a second mortgage to pay for gas. May try Banks when it cools off a little. Terry

I understand the fire started about 6 miles West of my place and headed south.

We could see the glow from the front porch the other night.

I guess some kids were out playing and crashed there rig is what started it.

Any fire in my area would be hard pressed to get very big.

I am surrounded by Columbia river water with all the irrigation.
