hey my name is spencer i am currently live in Bremerton, wa which is in Kitsap county i do fishing for Salmon for past 5 mos and i love it alot. Want to fish for something cause i have been laid off from work and i dont want to stay home all day and watch tv or doing nothing. I dont have boat. I have been to Illahee state park, Kitsap lake, Port Orchard marina, Silverdale waterfront. Also Been to Columbia River fishing for Sturgeon in July 2008 at Ilwaco, WA.

 

Anybody who live near Kitsap County or around Kitsap?? willing to meet up for some fishing day

Welcome to the BB. I live on the other side of the water, but make trips over there for doc appointments because thats where the Naval Hosp is. All I can suggest is hit up the mom and pop tackle stores or Sportsmans wharehouse. Ask what, where and hows. I am sure they will be more than happy to help you out. I will be switching over to C-n-R, with barbless hook next month. They will be stocking the lakes with in the next 4-5 weeks. They are 8 to 10 inch bows. You can go to http://wdfw.wa.gov/fish/plants/inde...nbsp;there is last years stocking to give you an idea as to what was put in the waters around you. They stock it around the same time frame every year.

Good news... All the lakes and ponds have been stocked. The bad news... They are 6-10 inchers and swallow the hook half the time(if you use a single hook). How eer, trips are to be coming in about a month, so get ready for those.
