I live in Skagit county, Washington. Does anybody know how/where to fish for sturgeon. I want to start but don't know where to begin. Please help.

How far are you willing to travel is the first question. Second, stop of at Holiday Market or Whole Sale Outfiters(holiday first) and ask where around there is a good time. I know the first time I went for them it was the tail end of spring and they were on the way in from the salt water. Herring fillet and a ghost shrimp on a 5/0-7/0 hook works great down on the columiba river. Use elastic string to wrap well together. Be prepared to use wieghts 8oz and up in fast water.

Thanks. I know the columbia's a good spot but I was hoping for something kinda in my area. I'll have to talk to the guys at holiday.

If Everett is in your range. You might want to try out the Snohmish river.
