I was just wondering how other Washington anglers feel about the Northerns in the Pend Orellie?
    I am undecided.
On one hand they are fun to catch and not to bad to eat.
On the other hand, how would we keep them out of the Columbia?
What would there impact be on the Columbia?

    Thanks for your time.

I've never really sat and thought about it, Bear. I've never been up there to catch any either.
Good things come to those who bait... Hoss in Wa

    Howdy there Hoss.
You ought to give them a try before the WDFW kills them out.
Fun fish to catch. A bit tricky to fillet but not bad eating.

i live in spokane and had a tournament out there last year. the amount of pike is insane, i caught atleast 30 pike for every 1 bass. they are insane. my buddy caught one about 4 ft long. they are either medium sized all the way up to HUGE!! just throw anything with a steel leader and you will catch 'em. im not kidding when i say it is baad. and bad as in out of control.

I understand the WDFW wants to cut the population by 87%, not sure how they came up with that figure but....
I also have been hearing of Pike being caught by Marcus island.

I can understand the Bass guys not being a big fan of the Pike but they do make a good meal.

    How you been Pill?
Glad to see you still around.
