Hey Ya'll! I sort of introduced myself somewhat in another post, but will do a little more detail here. My name is Terry, been a Life Member since 1990. I am retired Army and 7 years ago, I met a girl from Fairmont on the Internet and wound up moving up here from Atlanta to marry her. How could I not? She has her own guns and loves to fish! LOL! I did, however, introduce her to the joys of fishing flatwater from a kayak and it would now be worth my life if I tried to take hers away from her. Also got her hooked on bass fishin' with artificial worms and man, does she go nuts when she gets a 5-6 pounder on out at the Pleasant Creek area! It's taken some time for a southern shallow warm water fisherman to learn the tricks on some of these deep cold northern lakes, and I could use a whole heap of advice. We mainly fish the streams and lakes in the Marion County area, but do make it as far down as Stonecoal every now and then. Terry Peterson |

Hello. I just upgraded to a Life Member. I live in Mineral County in the Eastern Panhandle. Originally from Wayne County. I'll fish for about anything that will bite. I do love trout fishing. Mostly smaller streams but I do make a few trips each year to Smoke Hole and the North Fork of the South Branch. I like some wade fishing in the South Branch in the summer also. |

Hi my name is Kevin. I actually live in Canonsburg, Pa. I cant seem to stay away from Cabelas and have recently discovered the Bear Rocks lake as well as Castlemans run. I plan on spending some time fishing these lakes. I understand the bass are decent and that muskie are also present? Any info would be appreciated, thank you. |

My grandfather tought me to fish when I was 5 and my daughter turns 5 in Nov. so in the spring I will be teaching her. Hello fellow WV anglers. I've been a member since 97, but it's been a while since I had time to surf the website. I just found this WV forum, so I hope it's not too late for an introduction... My name is Craig, from Jackson County. I'll fish for whatever will pull back from the other end of the line, but I'm finding it harder and harder to get out. I've got a trip to the Florida Keys coming up at the end of February, and I'm hoping that will re-kindle the fishing fire. If that doesn't work, my son is taking the 4-H Sportfishing project this year, so I'm going to be "forced" to fish more to help with this project. Maybe I'll see you guys on the water.. I'll be the one in the big camo canoe. |

Howdy, I think I'm doing this right. I'm in Upshur county. Around Stonecoal, Stonewall, Buckhannon river, Holly river..etc. I'm Waiting for it to warm up a bit. I've caught 2 trout and several bluegills already. I keep almost 600g of fish tanks in my house. Freshwater/tropicals. Anyway, I hope to spend some time on here before it gets to warm. See ya at the fishin' hole.  noobie :) |

Not a new member by any stretch of the imagination. Life Member since 1992. Usually too busy fishing when I'm not working to be on here. I'm sure that's true of most WV members.
I've fished just about everywhere in this state. Originally from the North-central / Mid-Ohio Valley area, lived in the Beckley area for about five years and have been back around Clarksburg for just over a year.
I enjoy watching my 14-year old daughter catch bass as much as I enjoy catching them myself! There's the satisfaction of knowing I've passed on something to her that she'll be able to enjoy the rest of her life. |

Ryan here, from Mineral County. Fish for anything and everything. From tiger musky (i have a secret spot) to bluegills. Just finished up a great ice season for trout, and if anyone else enjoys it give me a shout, I've got some secrets I'd be willing to share. Catfishing will be here before you know it, and you know I'll be out there catching them, or trying to.
Thanks to our big brother (the government) they're going to be draining one of my favorite fishing spots, New Creek Dam 14, so fishing may be slow this summer. |

Hello my name is scott im from taylor co. I fish as much as i can i am new member and so far i like what i see .I fish for about anything that is in the state i just went trout fishing for native brooks and wild rainbows i cought around 23 fish that day and 5 keepers around 12 to 14 inches 3 brookies and 2 rainbows. Hope we can all be good friends and maybe even have tha chance to fish together well be on again soon talk later .

Hey all, I am a new member of NAFC but am a life long fisherman. I grew up in the sticks of Central Georgia and love to catch those big cats but will fish for whatever is biting. I have been in the Jefferson County area for about 2 years and only place I go fishing now is the bank of the Shenandoah River off of Rt 9. Havent found many places that are wheelchair friendly lol but hey I will catch the little ones as long as I get to fish  Yall stay safe and fish on |

hey guys! my name is Denzil im from preston county wv,just took up fishing after a few years off. I am not very experienced but love to fish. My friends say im odd cos i hardly ever keep the fish i catch,i believe in catch and release and letting someone else enjoy catching fish too.i have a 25 year old step son a 22 year old son and a three year old lil girl and greatly enjoy being with the three of them fishing.my daughter cought her first fish this year...a blue gill lol and her first trout lastmonth at the pay pond at smoke hole resort,that was a blast!! If anyone is close to preston county i would jump at the chance to fish with new people at new places and i realy dont care what kinda fish i catch lol. Im saving to buy a pelican bass raider 10 foot boat in july and would welcom anyone on board that likes to fish!!

u work at quality one?? for rick?? theres alot of right next doors lol u do kinda look familiar tho i run the bAck shop stop by and we will swap lies sometime lol. work is overrated i try to never let it get in the way of fishing lol.

Hello,My name is Rick and I live in Williamstown,WV.I have been a member since 9/9/2009.I had a heart attact last year and when they got done sticking things in me they found I had lung cancer.So the chemo kicked my butt,other than that I'm in great shape to do some fishin.I go mostly under the bridge here in Williamstown,still can't walk very far.If anybody is in my aera give me a shout. rthmp54@yahoo.com Good Luck All |

Romney has one of the BEST places to fish Ive ever been too. Canoe float trip through the "trough" on the South Branch was the best fishing trip Ive ever been on........including canada. We caught a ton of fish on a two day float. We are going again in April. I hope to make a couple of trips there this year. If I lived there you couldn't keep me out of the river. If you havent tried it I highly recommend it.

My name is Steve i am a ohio native. i have lived in dodd county for seven years. the only places i know to fish for bass and and have any luck is conoway lake in tylor county. could some one tell me good spot to bass fish without a boat. thanks.
