went fishing with my son at tygart saturday,cought my first walleye,first yellow perch and first drum fish!! used my buddies 11 foot jon boat and had a blast! was our first time on a boat as well! we also cought a pile of rock bass lol lil guys wouldnt let us alone. other than the bats that kept messin with us just after dark we had a very memorable time i recomend tygart to anyone!

Very nice, did ya put in at the back waters or the marina?

in the marina. the wakes from the bigger boats were pretty scarry at first till i learned to nose into them instead of being sideways lol. might try the tail waters next time. my sons g/f`s dad lives there in grafton somewhere jon...my son said we could put in not to far from his house. my daughter and i just ate the walleye a lil bit ago deep fried in beer batter mmmmm. have you heard of or seen those 10` pelican bass raider boats they have at dicks?? $499 for the boat i think im going to get 1 my deal on the other jon boat fell thru unfortunatly. was wondering if they were a good boat or not.
