Well, Lazarus (Ray Ray) came up from Chicago for a day of fishing with me. We got the boat loaded and headed to the famous "Honey Hole" only to find out that the launch was packed full. That never happen to me before at this lake as this lake is a quite "no wake" hidden gem that I fell in love with three years ago.
Ok, no big deal, there was a plan "B".
We got to Okauchee Lake and got the very last parking spot in the launch - wow - this was a weekday, around noon and the lakes are packed today. Got the boat on the water and she started right up on the first crank. WHEW!!!! that was a relief. The bite was pretty S-L-O-W. But we did manage to leave the lake with out the
Ray with a perch who was pretty hungry for a minnow
Alot of dink Gills
biggest rock bass I have ever gotten
All in all, even though the fish weren't jumping in the boat, it was a nice day to be out fishing with a friend. It was also a great feeling to know the boat was in good working order for the season
